Elder’s Council Update #3 (March 16, 10:00 PM)

Re: Coronavirus

Dear Church Family:

We are grateful that God enabled us to livestream church services yesterday to reach over 500 different devices – many of those individual devices representing whole households or small groups of people, some who have never come to Harvest Windsor before! Praise God that, even when the situation isn’t ideal, He is continuing to do great things in and through us to advance the Great Commission.

What’s more, we’ve been hearing reports of the church family stepping up and taking Sunday’s message to heart and showing love to the people around them: helping neighbours, calling people in their small group, looking out for those in need, the elderly, etc. This is a great testimony of the love of God, and we are excited to see it continue!

Unfortunately, due to the current situation regarding the Coronavirus, our church’s midweek programs will be cancelled until April 6th.

We will continue to livestream our weekend services; however, the church building and the church office will be closed until April 6th with staff continuing to work from home.

Our Unveiled women’s conference will also be postponed to a later date.

Please note that our participation in 40 Days for Life on Mondays is not affected at this point as we are in small groups that can practice appropriate social distancing as recommended. will now be taking place in our homes (updated March 18 @ 4:14 PM). See https://www.40daysforlife.com/windsor for more details.

While we are all obviously disappointed by the inability to meet in our regular groups, we are praying that God will continue to use this unique season of ministry for His glory. As you continue to contribute generously to the needs of our church family, we ask you to pray for one another and encourage each other to stay engaged in the mission God has given us.

You are loved
