RESPONSE TO PUBLIC QUESTIONS & NEW COURT SUMMONS ISSUED

Today, our lead pastor, Rev. Dr. Aaron Rock, received another court summons from the Windsor Police Services. The summons pertains to worship services held on our property that were recently reported by members of the media. This summons carries the potential for massive fines and imprisonment, and similar summons have also been issued to several clergy persons across the province of Ontario over the past few weeks. Harvest Bible Church continues to assert the rights of all Canadians to freedom of religion, and that the State does not have the authority to unilaterally dictate terms of worship or ministry to the Christian Church. We further assert that lockdowns are causing serious damage to our community and that we are obligated under divine law to meet in person to worship the Lord Jesus Christ, to administer the Lord’s Supper, to baptise and disciple one another, and to be a place of refuge.

As promised in yesterday’s Press Release (https://harvestwindsor.ca/press-release-2021-05-05/), we are offering the following podcast which addresses questions submitted to our church by the public. We look forward to the day when elected officials will again uphold the supremacy of God and rule of law in accordance with the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms.
